About Garh Ganesh Temple
Garh Ganesh was built by Sawai Jai Singh II before he founded Jaipur, so that the new city would be blessed by Ganesh ji. The idol is a child form of Ganesh, and the temple is reached by a steep walk up the hill, which gives a fine view of the city and Jal Mahal.
